As much as thikka kobbu has been spot on with the inspiration of quick gun murugun... Its also, slowly becoming synonymous for an affliction that affects most men. And yes this is most men across the world. especially in the hands of a skillful "head-bobber" (wink wink) or even at throes of immense passion. A fire that is meant to be stroked.... i mean stoked for more than a handful of minutes extinguishes in a minute. Women are never happy with quick gun murugun's a.k.a (to the most of western world) Minuteman.

QGM's needn't be slave to their reputation, needless to say khud-khushi's in excess is not the solution.

Its the titanic of indian movies. originally a book written in 1917. Its been redone over ten times. Its a book of unrequitted love, where devdas does not get the girl and resorts to drinking and chilling with a courtesan. Ofcourse in depression.

Today, its a term used when road side romeo's to arty-farty boys, gets their hearts broken. They grow out a beard and be very depressu! some resort to alcohol. A pure devdas; the ones who drink from a bottle(sign of numbing their pain), grow a beard(sign of not caring of their appearance) and bore their friends about their love-life(sign of reliving their best times)

Its hard to explain pecos. Its an institution, a relic, a cultural heritage site (well, it should be) and mostly the most dilapidated pub in bangalore. to be a true bangalorean, you need to hate the name bengaluru, talk about the 90's when the IT boom just started, be nostalgic about brigade road and have had one of your first beers at pecos.

Pecos serves only beer, popcorn and an array of awesome food that is surprising for the place. the bar counter is filled with cassettes, not fancy bottles and the walls are littered with posters. there is one graffiti of frank zappa taking a dump.

there are more upmarket spots from the same management. Mojos and Stones. but pecos is the original.

Literally translates to a Date. Umm.. the fruit not the act of asking a girl out. But in hyderabadi hindi (they say urdu) it means Idiot, oaf.
