Marriage and wedding are interchangeable words.

Priyadarshani - Next next friday? I don't know ya, my cousin brothers family friend is coming to stay with me. And by the way you mean wedding ceremony na, marriage is toh something performed at a wedding.

Unlike the ambiguous English word "hot", when you say a food item is "mirchi", you are unambiguously referring to the fact that it contains "mirch" or chilies (red or green). The Hindi word "teez" literally meaning "rapid" can be substituted.

Usage

"(sucking in air sound) this korma is too mirchi man!"
"too mirchi for you? take curd rice."
