Definition
The sinister-yet-endearing nomenclature directed in secret third person at the most superior officer of each of India's hundreds of Reverend Christian Brother schools. I first came across this term for the holy principal of St Columbus School, New Delhi, where I was privileged to be a student. We addressed thus our then head-master - the fearsome, imposing, but well-meaning Brother Patrick Gaffney - but only within our schoolboy circles and out of "Big Brother's" earshot. Of course, the senior students were themselves self-baptised "Bhayyas" (Hindi term for "Big Brothers"), and Bollywood Star Shah Rukh Khan was once, one such. I thought it an honour being in the same school as he, till I realised how I had also become an arsehole.
Usage
Much like how a Roman Catholic priest is addressed with his prefix of "Father", represented in scribe as "Fr.", Reverend Christian Brothers, are called "Brother", or on paper, "Br." However, if he is close and informal enough to the person verbally addressing him, "Bro" might also work.

Brain fry. An actual dish. Beja fry is also used to describe a person with addled brains, extra stoned or high on acid.
Usage
