vadapav
Noun.
Vadapav is a sandwich of a vada in a pav. Vada is a potato patty coated with gramflour batter & deep fried. Pav is a small loaf of bread ("pav" is Portugese for "loaf" -- pão --
and comes to us via Goa). The vada is put in the pav with green chutney. Best eaten hot with green chillies.
