Definition
In Kannada it literally means "my son" but is used to speak of somebody dismissively or derisively. Similar to "saala" in Hindi.
Usage
Ravi: "How is the new house coming along?"
Shyam: "In a mess, man, in a mess. The contractor, nanna magaa, he has taken me for a ride. The cost till now is 25% more than the initial estimate and the bugger says he needs another 5 lakhs for finishing works."
