A bottle of alcohol, usually whisky or country liquor.

Literally, pole. Referred as such out of respect for it's majestic bearing - the pride of place it might hold in the hearts of wayward youths.

Usage in Bambaiya.

Usage

"Raat ko aaja. Mai khamba leke aatai. Tu biryani leke aa!"

(Join me this evening. I'll bring the bottle of alcohol. You bring the biryani.)

"Daily khamba utarega. Uske baad full tight!" (Daily, he consumes one khamba. And gets totally drunk."

Definition

One full bottle of daru. Accompanied by a gesture where you stretch one hand outwards and place the other palm in a cutting motion on the inside of the elbow (elbow pit) while mouthing the word khamba to the uncle at the theka.

Usage

techie ramesh - Uncle, ek khamba dena!
