Hoysala

Night Patrol of the Bangalore Police. Literally means 'tiger'. Hoysala jeeps can be found prowling outside most MLA houses and on MG Road making sure no place stays open after 11:30 pm. Because, well, that would be too much fun for the city's eng persons.

Favourite ego-boosting pastime of the Hoysala policemen : Stand outside peaceful residential park in the evening at 7:30pm, turn on the loud speaker, and scream and scare all the old folks taking their daily constitutional.

"Eeeeeeeey. Ajji! Kelsa illava? Hogbeku! Begaa!!!"
