Derived from the Hindi phrase "sasth aur masth", the English phrase Cheap and Best describes the Valhalla of all consumer choices in India...

Not only is something *cheap*. But it is also the *best*. Whatay combo!

In reality, something becomes *best* simply because it is pretty good and entirely within budget. Paisa vasool

Regular people say this, and it is not derogatory.
(thanks Dindigal)

One with chappan, or 56, pimples, or red dots, on his/her face. Although you don't have to actually count them. Can also be referred to a person who speaks a lot (big mouth person, mouth equal to 56 big tikli's, or dots the size of a woman's bindi).
Aeeee!!! Chappan tikli... kaan ke neeche manjira bajau kya??

It minns one packet Cup o' noodles. Most canteen and small shop wallahs completely ignore the 'o' and fuse the first and third word together. Trying to teach said canteen/shop wallahs how to include the 'o' will just earn you dutty looks, so don't try also.
Student : How much is one packet Cupnoodle?

Canteen wallah : Forty rupiss

Student : But the price is listed as twenty five rupees! Why simply fifteen rupees extra?

Canteen wallah : Fifteen rupiss extra for three spoons hot water and small plastic fork.

Student : What nonsense price you're telling for hot water and two-rupees fork. I'll tell the princi, just you wait. Thief fellow.
