Originally a deep fried delight from the snack shops in
the north Kolkata footpaths ! The delicacy gets its name from the wet bread , boiled potato , peanut and cauliflower filling which is mashed to a consistency of a brain. Urban myth also states that the delicacy gets its name because it was first invented in the canteen of the national medical college in calcutta !! The brain chop is similar to the bread pakora but is way bigger in size and fairly circular in shape .
