Amar Chitra Katha

A series of comic books originally put out by India Book House covering a variety of topics relevant to India and Indian history, including mythology. Available at most train stations all over India, and in many different local languages, the series still continues. Often an integral part of a child's summertime reading. The founder of IBH -- Uncle Pai aka Anant Pai -- often organized quizzes based on history and mythology trivia.

Amar Chitra Katha may mean "Our Cherished Stories."
